6 Top Cosplays in The LEC Finals

The LEC summer finals in Athens have brought us some more cool and talented cosplayers. Cosplay simply means costume play – this is a type of performance art in which the artists use costumes, body art and other accessories to make themselves look like a specific character from a movie, video game, book and etc.

If you don’t know then LEC means League of Legends European Championship. It’s part of the League of Legends Esports scene that Riot Games (the company that owns LOL) organize. The participants are professional LOL players that are actually making a lot of money by just playing and/or streaming their favorite game.

Now, let’s get back to the top 6 cosplays in this event.

Horo Von Kaida – Headhunter Akali

Horo Von Kaida is a Greek cosplayer, crafter and gamer that has many photos of her cosplaying various characters from video games and movies. In the LEC finals she cosplayed the character Headhunter Akali:

Don’t you think that this costume is really good? If you want to compare it to the original character of this costume – you can check the Headhunter Akali skin in this YouTube video:

Horo has many other cool costumes on her social accounts like Instagram and twitter. You can find her twitter account here: HoroVonKaida

Bullet Witch Cosplay – Dark Valkyrie Diana

This talented university student is actually a hard working marine employee. She loves playing video games and cosplaying different characters like her latest masterpiece – Dark Valkyrie Diana.

Bullet Witch Cosplay is where you can find her interesting Facebook page.

Darkenya – Katarina

Darkenya is a brilliant cosplayer that is living in Athens, Greece. She has also won multiple awards for her fantastic cosplay – her last award was the fifth place at Comicdom 2017 for her Blood elf Demon hunter costume. This time she is cosplaying the Katarina character from the League of Legends universe.

Her Facebook page contains images, posts and more details about Darkenya and her costumes. This page can be found here: Darkenya Cosplay.

Marouso – Riven

Marouso is a cosplayer and graphic designer from Greece. She actually started cosplaying in a highschool costume party. Her last award was the first place in Gameathlon Summer 2019. Now she is cosplaying a warrior character named Riven from the LOL universe. Marouso’s costume of Riven includes an awesome broken sword that looks just like Riven’s sword in the League of Legends game.

Abyss Arts & Crafts is her Facebook page (I don’t know why she chose this name instead of her name or a more cool stage name). She has some nice images and videos on her page so be sure to check it if you’re interested.

Ronny Von Kaida – K/DA Ahri

Another Greek cosplayer is Ronny Von Kaida. She actually has been cosplaying since the year 2013! Ronny has even earned prizes for her great costumes, the last one was the first place in eGaming 2017. We sure hope to see some more costumes from this talented cosplayer!

The K/DA Ahri skin can be seen in this video: K/DA Ahri Skin Spotlight – League of Legends. Ronny’s Facebook page can be found here: Ronny Von Kaida.

Tasos Vereshagin – Ace of Spades Ezreal

The only male cosplayer on this list is Tasos Vereshagin. He actually managed to end up with a really nice cosplay of Ace of Spades Ezreal. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find more info about this artist.

For some reason, almost all the video game cosplayers that we see are actually females. Why can’t we see more male cosplayers in LOL and other games? Wouldn’t you want to see some cool male costumes of your favorite characters? Anyway, we hope to see more of Tasos’s art in the future.

Other Cosplayers

There were many other awesome cosplayers in the LEC finals that aren’t mentioned here. You can find more info about some of these artists in the video’s description. If you want to learn more about cosplayers of LOL or other games – then please let us know!
